I’m going tonight in DC at the 9:30 Club!! You’ve just made me so excited! Thank you for whetting my appetite.

Thanks. Criticism is a sufficiently beleaguered calling that it's always an up when an artist takes the time to indicate that he or she appreciated what you wrote.

Or another critic. I just saw Jazz Master honoree Gary Giddins praise and credit you as the best editor he’s ever worked with in the filmed intro to his award presentation, being live-streamed. Thanks Bob for keeping on.

I'm going to see them in Carrboro, NC, on Sunday and now you've got me extra excited.!

Got my ticket for the Denver, May 15 show. By they way, I saw the group in fall of 2019 with Andy Gill as only original member. When I read in early 2020 that he died of a respiratory illness, I always suspected it was Covid.

I saw the show in Toronto on the 23rd. I’m still buzzing!!!

So these guys, in whatever form, aren’t the originals. But Gang of 4 was darn close to Dolls/X/Clash. So rock on.

Carrboro NC on Sunday…counting the hours.

Saw the lineup with Pajo and early-80s bassist Sarah Lee a couple years ago and it was stupendous, but this review and another makes me hope they'll come back over my way so I can go around again. If not, at least I got to see the microwave destruction with my own eyes. I hope in six decades I'll still be able to get out to the clubs and see a band (possibly one that I don't know about yet, or one that is yet to exist) still clanging away after years in the game. So long as everything's still here, I'll try my hardest.

Some people just never grow up.

Just saw them at the Kilby Block Party in SLC. One of the greatest live shows I've ever witnessed. Such an incredible up right now to be in a crowd full of people chanting "To Hell with Poverty"

I caught them on the Boston show and it was my first time seeing Go4 (in any shape or form - previous attempts to see just never worked out). Better late than never because they kicked ass! Oh, and it was on Easter Sunday - sacred and profane, indeed!
